Installation, Shipping, and Delivery
Creative Showcase can provide delivery and installation within the tri-state metropolitan area or approximately 200-mile radius of New York City with our own trucks. Other areas within the continental United States or outside the United States can be made by special arrangements with Creative Showcases during contractual negotiations.
Otherwise, Creative Showcases can arrange shipment by common carrier, or client may select a carrier of their own choosing, or make other arrangements for delivery.
Motor Freight Shipment
Creative showcases does not accept liability for damages caused during transit by common carrier (truck), merchandise is shipped the best and most economical way in accordance with weight and size. All shipments and prices are F.O.B. New York.
Common carrier is shipped freight collect and requires payment of freight charges upon acceptance of delivery, unless other arrangements are made with creative showcases.
Creative showcases can assist you in securing shipment with the most economical and expedient carrier for your needs. Please be aware that motor freight is only responsible for shipment to the tailgate of truck. It is up to the receiver to make arrangements from the truck to their establishment.
You may however, for an additional charge specify inside delivery, You may also request that carrier call 24 hours before delivery so you may arrange for help at the delivery site.
Damage Claims
Creative showcases is not responsible for freight damage and does not replace items for free. The customer must file a claim with the common carrier to be reimbursed for any damaged goods.
Inspect your shipment for damages before signing the bill of lading. Customers must note any damage on the bill of lading when accepting a shipment or the carrier will not assume responsibility for the damage and refuse to reimburse you for damages.
We suggest that you refuse any damage shipments. Concealed damages must be reported within 10 calendar days of receipt to the common carrier. All crates, cartons and packaging materials must be available for inspection and claim consideration- No Exceptions.
